I have known the Bradley family for a few years now and have seen both the Zane and Ian grow up here at camp. While Zane Bradley has been coming to camp his riding has improved, friendships have grown, and a fun camper has turned into a staff member. I was able to sit down with Zane and chat a little bit about camp, as well as take some photos of him on big dirt. Check out this little video edit and see just what Zane thinks about camp.
The BMX High Jump is one of the most highly attended contests of the week. Staff members of all sports, and even BMX pros like Jamie Bestwick, Mike Spinner, Brian Hunt, Ronnie Napolitan, and Seth Klinger were on hand to watch and help run the contest. Fortunately, i was able to capture about 50 photos from this contest. Check them out inside.
Pro BMX Rider and Ball Park rider Mike Spinner was on hand this week hanging out and riding with all of the kids. One lucky camper by the name of Justin Webber was skilled enough to win the Bunny Hop contest. Mike Spinner being the nice guy that he is, handed Justin a new Hyper Bikes Frame!!! Thanks Mike, and Congrats Justin.
Woodward Films was able to sit down with BMX Pro rider Ronnie Napolitan and ask him what he really thinks about coming to camp each and every summer. It really is funny to rethink the about the first time we have all come to camp. I think Ronnie does a pretty good job in speaking for all of us. Check out the video inside.
Last year the dirt jumps were moved up above the Woodward Lake giving it a really amazing feel and look. This year, the Heathens crew has been out here shaping the jumps and getting everything ready for camp as normal, but they have also started working on expanding the new set of dirt jumps with a new line. A few new step ups and turn around section linking you directly into a series of jumps will make this hot spot even better this summer!!
