Camp Woodward Skateboarding

Justin Lynch, a pro vert skater from the early 90s is making his way back into the competition scene. He stopped by Camp Woodward to spend some time on the ramp, preparing for the Pro Tec Pool Party held this weekend in Orange County at the Vans Combi Pool. We were on hand to capture some of his skating in this quick video edit.  Look out for part 2 coming soon.

Ethan Hoffman was a digital media camper during week 6 and 7 last year.  He recently shared this great video that he made while at camp those weeks on our Facebook page, and we just wanted to share it with you all!   Hope to see everyone this summer, it is going to be an amazing ride!

During Chris Cole's Excellent Adventure last year, Chris gave us some insight just what Woodward meant to him.  It is always amazing to hear what these amazing professionals have to say about Woodward.   Check out this little interview with some amazing skating!

With summer so close, we are already dreaming of what this summer will hold.  What new gaps will be defeated and what amazing video edits will come from our digital media campers this year.   While in the dream room we stumbled upon a skateboard edit from digital media camper Chad Rindflesh.  Sit back, grab a ball park frank and watch week 4, 2011 through the lens of Chad.

The weather has been crazy, with a freak April snow storm to start off this week, and now some more mild weather blowing in.  California Skateparks is hard at work on phase 2 of the last years snake run.   This second phase seems to be longers and looks like it will contain more obstacles then phase 1.  I can't wait to see this whole thing take shape.  View some more shots inside and don't forget to stay tuned to our site future updates.

Well,  i guess it is that time of the year again.  The amazing guys at California Skateparks are back and they brought some heavy machines to move some dirt.  To be honest, i haven't seen the plans myself but i can only imagine good things are about to happen as they always do when these guys are involved.   Be sure to stay posted to our website, and i will do my best to give picture updates of everything going on.  2012 is looking good!
