The Phantom Miro M120 camera is a revolutionary compact hi-speed camera that has been tested at the Camp Woodward facility.   With technology always improving at such a rapid pace it is nice to see these amazing qualities broken down for us.   While, this whole video wasn't shot at Camp Woodward, a majority of it was.  Check out some of these amazing clips!

Camp Woodward is always making improvements and this year is not going to be any different.  We have started the process of creating a new digital media center that will be set up with a full studio, and classroom areas.   Stay tuned with us to see the construction process as it happens right here at woodwardcamp.com.  As you can see the building is currently getting the heat and air ducts placed and the process has started.

AT&T and Wayfinder.TV are looking for an aspiring filmmaker to help concept, direct, and produce an original video featuring pro skateboarder Paul Rodriguez (aka P-Rod). Knowing the background and talent of our Digital Media campers and interns, they have asked Camp Woodward to help in the talent search.  The selected filmmaker will have the chance to work as part of a professional crew on an exciting LA-based video featuring this skater, actor, shop owner, shoe and skate park designer, and X Games winner.  Do you think you have what it takes?

Adam Trilling has spent some time at Camp Woodward in the past few summers.  While Adam first entered the Digital Media program as a video production camper, his talent had been noticed and most recently spent some time here at an intern.  It has always been fun to look and watch everyone progress over the years, and Adam has done just that.   We wouldn't expect you to take our word on it though.  Check out one of his newest releases on youtube.

When digital media campers journey to Woodward, they often get to work with some pretty expensive equipment that the normal videographer or photographer may not get the chance to.   This was the case for week 12 campers back in 2010.  A Matrix rig was brought in and campers were able to learn about this amazing technology while they were here.   Check out some pretty amazing footage that they were able to capture while at camp during that week.  Enjoy.

In the summer or 2010, hip-hop artist 'Fashawn' who was featured on the cover of XXL magazine and noted as one of the "top ten freshmen of the year" came to camp and was inspired by all that camp is. He wrote a rap, recorded it in our studio, and then we shot this video with the Woodward Films crew all in two days.
Fashawn is one of our favorite people who has come through camp. He's an incredibly talented writer and rapper and we're honored to work with him on this level. Thanks for visiting Camp Woodward, Fashawn!

Bree Garbarino was a video camper for a few weeks this summer, but during week 12 she really showed her true colors.  She assisted the video instructor Keir Johnson with video camp, assisted the Woodward Films crew on Chris Coles Excellent Adventure live webcast, and a few other projects including the Arts Festival ontop of filming and editing this awesome piece of "camp through her eyes".  Here's to you Bree and all your effort at camp this summer. We believe there are bright things in your future.

James Volk attended video camp weeks 8 and 12. During his time at camp, James bonded with Ty Evans and gained a lot of filming knowledge in a short period of time. He was always helping other campers and showed a  strong desire to just help everyone around him. James Volk is week 12's Vitamin Water Award winner for his dedication to the craft and the campers.
