The Woodward Films crew partnered up with cinematographer and visual effects artist Jim Geduldick to do a first time test for AbelCine and Vision Research on the Phantom Miro M series high speed camera. There are 2 main points about the content and this experience that i feel need to be noted.
First, the equipment we worked with had never been tested. This was the first time it had been played with. BMXers Chad Kagy, Alistair Whitton, Zach Warden, Steve McCann and skateboarder Ben Hatchell all came out to let us shoot with them.
Woodward Films recently sat down with BMX superstars Jamie Bestwick and Chad Kagy for the ESPN X Games. It only seems fitting to do some interviews with all of the Digital Media equipment on hand here and with the Pros living locally. Both of these riders have high expectations for the rest of the contest season, and we wish both of them luck.

Digital Media Camp Directors Dave Metty and Jeff Brockmeyer keep extremely busy throughout the camp summers; shooting, editing, designing, brainstorming, filming, etc. We get to see a lot of their final work in the camp brochures, magazine ads, the Colony of Summer, and much more, but their work doesn't stop there. My goal now is to keep tabs on their off-season travels, adventures, all past, present, and current video and photo shoots and post a 'photo of the week.' Enjoy.
The third day of The Alli Action Sports Contest was very snowy and cold. (as expected of the two previous days of the contest but never happened) This day was the Men's/ Women's SuperPipe Finals.
It was day 2 of the Alli Action Sports Tour and a photographers’ dream day. The sun was shining, the weather was warm (if you consider 32 degrees warm) and all the riders were on top of their game. On this particular day, I primarily focused on getting a few shots that I had scoped out the previous day.

It was the first day of the Alli Action Sports Tour in Breckenridge, CO and I (Jeff Brockmeyer) am documenting the event for Woodward Films and Photo so that I can give aspiring photographers and filmmakers a look into what it would be like to shoot a professional winter snowboarding and ski event.
During the summer of 2010, the Digital Media Camp staff recorded rap lyrics and shot a 60-second music video/commercial with Hip Hop Artist Fashawn. Fashawn was recognized as XXL magazine's Freshman of the Year.
