Working on this project "Unleash Your Creative Genius" has brought in a ton of inspiration to the Woodward Films department. Being able to dream up ideas and bring them to life is what this project is all about. Basically, the concept is.. dream it.. do it. That is such a fun mentality because that is what we did the other night with our photo intern Morgan and a horse from the horse stable. We dreamt up a great idea for our commercial and brought it to light. Here are some behind the scenes photos and one great one at the end.

At 9 a.m., I can say I'm not much of a morning person. I sit in on our morning production meeting with other digital media camp staff and our next project begins to unfold.
A commercial centered on "unleashing your creativity." I've been here at Woodward for a week now, between the staff and the addition of campers, there is enough creativity to go around here. From an outside perspective, things just happen here. Photographers and filmers link up with pros and make amazing shots or clips. They go home, come back and do the same thing the next day. Doing a commercial on how creators come up with their vision seems daunting.

Chaz Ortiz - Woodward Films Update

Chaz Ortiz was at camp last week and Woodward Films spent 2 epic nights shooting photos and video with this incredible young ripper. Last Wednesday night was spent shooting a photo for the cover of the Woodward Action Sports Brochure. Thursday night was spent filming with Chaz in a soon to be released video "While They Sleep". Organika Visits the Digital Media Studio

The Organika Skateboard team dropped by for the normal Camp Woodward summer visit and had a chance to goof around in the always fun Digital Media Photo Studio. While we know how amazing these guys are with their skateboard, it is always fun to try and bring out some good old photo booth fun! Digital Media Camp - Opening Day Video

Week 3 was the start of Digital Media Camps for 2011. The first day is always pretty interesting for the campers as they get to meet new friends, get introduced to their instructors, and show exactly what they already know about photography and filmmaking. The guys from Woodward Films were able to throw together a little video that explains what the first day is like for all of you new campers. Check it out.
