The 4th leg of the 2013 Woodward Skatepark tour took us to some pretty amazing parks in the tri-state area. With parks like GrindLab in Camp Hill, PA, Charm City Skatepark in Baltimore, MD, and The Incline Club in Lakewood, NJ, we knew we would have no problems getting a bunch of clips together for our three edits. We have started to book our visiting Olympians for the summer of 2013 and it looks like the summer will start out right with some amazing visiting guests for our campers to work with. Check out more info inside.
The Cheer VIP's are starting to flow in and we have started to update our visiting guests page. We have gotten commitments from VIP's like Dee Temples from ATA Legends, Erica Englebert from Cheer Extreme Allstars, Cami Branson from Spirit of Texas and many more.
Keith Schmidt has come a long way since his first time coming to Woodward Camp and has earned a spot with Hyper Bikes. Keith grew up locally around Woodward and got a job here doing everything that was asked of him including, building skateparks, helping get camp ready, working on dirt jumps, etc. While Keith has helped us out with all the work he has done, he never lost focus on his true passion; riding his bike. This video section goes to show just how talented he is and that there is much more to come. Be sure to watch Keith throw down a bunch of amazing tricks that were all filmed in one long day. Woodward Films production CampLibs has hit iTunes for download. This creative film that was premiered at the X-Dance Film Festival and nominated for "Best Short Film" and "Best Emerging Director" follows Woodward skateboard camper Dave Palazzese on his quest to conquer the Mini MegaRamp at Camp Woodward. This film takes the conventional mold of storytelling and twists it with a Madlib approach allowing Woodward campers to fill in the blanks of the original script. With appearances from characters like professional skateboarders Billy Marks, PLG, Tom Schaar as well as Hall and Oates, Santa Clause and Yoda, how could you ever go wrong.
